Polaris Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Polaris, regardless of your country of residence.

By using the Services, you represent that:

Polaris may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet the minimum age requirement.

Users are solely responsible for evaluating travel risks and for verifying relevant information with official sources such as government authorities, embassies, airlines, or qualified professionals before making travel decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polaris is not responsible for travel disruptions, injuries, accidents, losses, or damages arising from travel activities, third-party services, or reliance on information available through the Services.

8. Safety and Responsible Travel

Polaris encourages responsible and informed travel.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

However, by posting or uploading content to Polaris, you grant Polaris a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

User-Generated Content Disclaimer. Content posted by users of the Services reflects the views and opinions of the individual user who created it. Polaris does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content. Polaris does not verify or guarantee the safety, accuracy, or suitability of travel recommendations, routes, destinations, or activities shared by users.

Users are solely responsible for the content they post and for any consequences resulting from sharing that content.

Polaris is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or other harm that may result from reliance on user-generated content.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content:

• does not violate the rights of others;
• does not infringe intellectual property rights;
• does not contain unlawful, harmful, or abusive material.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Polaris to:

• violate any law or regulation;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
• impersonate another person or entity;
• post fraudulent or misleading information;
• upload harmful software, malware, or malicious code;
• collect or harvest user data without permission;
• interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services.

Polaris reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

11. Moderation and Enforcement

• use Polaris trademarks without permission;
• build competing services using Polaris data or platform content.

14. Service Availability

Polaris may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services at any time.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

15. Account Termination

You may stop using Polaris at any time.

Polaris may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• violate these Terms;

• involve fraud, abuse, or illegal activity.

Where possible, we may provide notice before termination, but we may suspend accounts immediately if necessary for security or safety reasons.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

19. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in North Carolina. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action or representative proceeding. If any part of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.

20. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
